HOW CAREERCAPTAIN WORKS

Add what you already have. Get useful help back.

CareerCaptain is built to remember useful career details for you, then use them when you need to prepare, write or make a decision. It should help without pretending it knows things you never told it.

FOUR USEFUL JOBS

Different problems need different kinds of help.

You can simply ask a question, or be more specific about what you need CareerCaptain to do.

Remember

Find a person, project, result, conversation, date or useful detail you added earlier.

Prepare

Bring together the useful history before a meeting, review, interview or difficult conversation.

Decide

Compare realistic options, what matters most and what may be getting in the way.

Challenge

Test whether your first view still holds up and look for things you may have overlooked.

FROM SOMETHING YOU ADD TO SOMETHING USEFUL

The simplest version of the flow.

01

You add something

A role, project, person, conversation, result, photo, screenshot or file. You do not need to complete everything first.

02

CareerCaptain finds what matters

It makes the useful detail searchable and can surface evidence-backed skills from the things you add. Inferred skills stay suggestions until you approve them.

03

It helps with the job in front of you

That might be a meeting briefing, CV, profile, application, weekly review, difficult choice or a question about your own history.

04

It tells you when something is missing

If there is not enough information for a strong answer, CareerCaptain should say what is missing instead of quietly making it up.

05

You decide what to use

CareerCaptain can suggest and draft. You decide what is correct, what to change and what you actually send, say or do.

06

You can add what happened next

The outcome only becomes part of your history when you choose to add it in your own words.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPECT

Useful help, with sensible limits.

A suggestion does not quietly become part of your history.

CareerCaptain should say when it does not have enough information.

Sensitive information should only be used when it is relevant to what you asked.

You can correct or remove things you added.

You remain responsible for checking anything important before relying on it.

THE POINT

Less career admin. Less reconstruction. Better preparation when it matters.

Start with one real problem and add only what helps solve it.
